Work
MEDICAL
Hospital work in Auckland, New Zealand; the Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel; and at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, and the Royal London Hospital in London, UK.
As well as clinical work, I was also involved in pre- and postgraduate teaching and in research leading to publications and presentation of papers in national and international journals, meetings and congresses.
I received a Merit Award for my services.

LITERARY TRANSLATION
Concurrent with my last years of hospital work, I started translating works by an Andean Argentine author, Héctor Tizón, into English, which led to commissioned translations of Spanish and Latin American authors.

FICTION and NONFICTION
A short story was published in a collection by Serpent’s Tail, followed by my autobiography, My Innocent Absence, by Arcadia Books
